特别 tè bié          especially / special / particular / unusual

因为 yīn wèi because / owing to / on account of

周年 zhōu nián anniversary / annual

因为今天是911 20周年          yīn wèi Jīntiān shì 911 20 zhōunián   

Because today is the 20th anniversary of 911

还是 hái shi or / still / nevertheless 

= 或是 huò shì or / either one or the other

迟到 chí dào to arrive late

准时 zhǔn shí on time / punctual / on schedule

关于 guān yú pertaining to / about 

交通 jiāo tōng to be connected / traffic / transportation 

工具         gōng jù tool / instrument / utensil / means (to achieve a goal etc)

第15课是关于交通工具    Dì 15 kè shì guānyú jiāotōng gōngjù   Lesson 15 is about transportation

脚踏车    Jiǎotàchē    bicycle = 自行车  Zìxíngchē

巴士 bā shì     bus (loanword) / motor coach

开车 kāi chē to drive a car

我妈妈每天开车带我去上学     Wǒ māmā měitiān kāichē dài wǒ qù shàngxué

My mom drives me to school every day

Make sure you know how to say 菜 cài dish (type of food) / vegetable / cuisine 

青菜 qīng cài green vegetables
